Brand design that becomes your strongest sales pitch.

People connect with brands on an emotional level, so a brand has to look and sound the same everywhere they meet it. We build the identity, the system around it, the website and the collateral, starting with a brand discovery audit.

Brand discovery

Every project starts by finding out what the brand really stands for.

Before we draw anything, we audit how the brand shows up today, talk to the people who run the business, and look hard at the market and the competitors it is up against. That is what makes every identity we design different from the last one: it comes from the business, not from a template.

What comes out is the thinking the design is built on: who the brand is for, what it promises, how it should sound and what it should never be. You keep it, and every designer, writer and agency you work with afterwards can brief from it.

  1. Where the brand stands today: website, social, signage, ads and sales material, side by side.
  2. The market around it: competitors, category conventions, and the gaps nobody owns.
  3. The people behind it: conversations with founders and the team who sell it.
  4. The foundations: positioning, brand pillars, messaging and personality, written down.

Identity

A logo is the start. The system around it does the work.

A strong identity is a set of decisions that hold together: the mark, the colours, the type, the way photographs are shot and the way the brand speaks. We design all of it as one system and document it in guidelines, so your team, your suppliers and your agencies apply it the same way every time.

New brand or a refresh of the one you have, the aim is the same: an identity that solidifies your position in the market and still looks right in ten years.

Websites

The website is where most people meet the brand properly.

A good first impression can be the difference between an enquiry and a closed tab. We design websites with the identity at full strength and a clear job for every page, then build them to load fast on a phone and to connect to the marketing that sends people there.

  1. Clear in seconds: who you are, what you do and why it matters, before anyone scrolls.
  2. One obvious next step on every page, whether that is a call, a form or a cart.
  3. Fast on a phone, where most of your visitors are.
  4. Tracked from day one, so every enquiry and sale can be traced to where it came from.
Collateral

Everything the brand touches, in print and on screen.

Print

Business cards, letterheads, brochures, signage, packaging and the presentation folder that goes to the pitch. Designed to the guidelines and prepared for the printer, so what arrives matches what you approved.

Digital

Social templates and profile suites, ad templates, email signatures and newsletters, sales decks and digital brochures. The pieces your team uses every day, built so they stay on brand without a designer in the room.

Questions

Before you brief a design agency.

Do you only design logos?
No. A logo on its own rarely changes much. We design the whole identity, the guidelines that hold it together, and the website and collateral that carry it, so it shows up the same way everywhere.
Can you refresh our brand rather than start again?
Yes. Plenty of brands have equity worth keeping. The discovery audit tells us what is working and what is holding you back, and the refresh keeps the first and fixes the second.
How much does a brand identity cost?
It depends on how much the brand needs: a logo and guidelines is a different project from a full identity, website and collateral suite. Every project is scoped after the discovery conversation, so the quote matches what the brand actually needs.
What do we get at the end?
The logo and every brand asset in the file formats you need for print and screen, the brand guidelines, and whatever templates and collateral were part of the project. Everything your team and your suppliers need to apply the brand without asking us.
Can you also film, photograph and market the new brand?
Yes. Design is one stage of the journey: our production team shoots the film and photography, and our marketing team takes it to market. It is all one team, working from the same strategy.
Do you work with businesses outside Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast?
Yes, anywhere in Australia. Crews travel to you for shoots, and the strategy, the design and the marketing run the same wherever you are, with the same senior people on the account.
